The Repower World Summit 2025 will take place in Katowice, Poland, on 4-5 March 2025.
The cost of participation in the event is:
- 1000 PLN (0% VAT) - the cost includes participation in 2 conference days, and includes refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch and access to presentations and conference materials
- 1500 PLN (0% VAT) - the cost includes participation in 2 conference days, and includes refreshments during coffee breaks, lunch and access to presentations and conference materials, as well as participation in the gala dinner to be organised on the first day of the event.
A VAT invoice will be prepared electronically and sent to the email address provided during registration upon receipt of payment.
The number of participants is limited.
1. Personal Data Administrator

3. Purposes of processing
The administrator processes personal data for the purpose of registering participation in Repower World Summit 2025, communicating with participants in order to organize Repower World Summit 2025, and if you consent to receiving information about conferences and events with a scientific profile or promoting science organized by the Silesian University of Technology - also for the purpose of sending such information in the future.
4. Legal basis for processing
Processing is based on the grounds arising from Article 6 section (1) let. (e). (performance of a task carried out in the public interest) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and the provisions of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science - regarding personal data contained in the application form, and in the case of the image and sending information about events organized by the University Article 6 section (1) letter (a) - consent of the data subject.
5. Withdrawal of consent
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by sending an e-mail request to the following address: iod@polsl.pl, which does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.
6. Personal data storage period
Personal data will be stored for the period resulting from the uniform material list of files developed on the basis of the Act of July 14, 1983 on the national archival resources and archives.
In the case of personal data processed on the basis of consent, personal data will be processed until the consent is withdrawn.
7. Data recipients
Entities performing public tasks. Personal data may also be transferred to partners providing technical and organizational IT support.
Personal data in the form of an image will be made available on the University's website and social media.
8. Rights related to the processing of personal data
You have the following rights related to the processing of personal data:
1) the right to access personal data;
2) the right to request the rectification of incorrect personal data and the completion of incomplete personal data;
3) the right to request the erasure of your personal data, should the circumstances defined in Article 17 of the GDPR arise;
4) the right to request restriction of the processing of personal data;
5) the right to transfer data if the processing is carried out in an automated manner - in the case of data processed on the basis of consent;
6) the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for the protection of personal data, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office;
7) the right to object to data processing.
9. Information about automated processing of personal data
Personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

If the event is organized using an online platform enabling sound and image recording, and you do not consent to the use and dissemination of your image for information and promotional purposes of the Silesian University of Technology, please do not turn on the camera during the event.
